When You Want To Negotiate Remember To:
Assess the situation carefully
Prepare yourself
Focus on the issues, not the person(s)
Know your own bottom line
Listen or ask for their bottom line
Know your position's strengths and weaknesses
Fine tune and expand upon your points of strength
Point out what you are willing to do
Don't accept what you are not comfortable with
Keep it simple
Listen well
Understand the opposition
Keep a clear head
Know when you have gotten the most
Make it win-win
Think about negotiation. What do each of these points require of
